Today I was reminded of the importance of living what I believe. It’s not enough to say that I am a follower of Christ, that my life is my witness for Him, that He is priority number one in my life. It’s not enough…
I must live it. At all times. My behavior, the things that I say, the thoughts that I choose to entertain…they must all bear witness to my commitment to righteousness.
Is that easy? No. More often than not, it is far from easy. And I admit that some days I feel like giving up, throwing in the towel, and saying “God, I absolutely can’t do this anymore!” At times those days seem to visit more often than their leisurely counterparts.
As real as the challenges are, as much as I sometimes want to give up and give in…my life does not belong to me. It was purchased at a hefty price that no one on this earth could ever afford, especially not me.
So, no matter what, I will press on. I will live my beliefs. My witness will tell it all. #sanguinemango
